Colin and Einojuhani a few months before the premiere of Incantations
Earlier this month, Colin joined Scottish Chamber Orchestra and Sir James MacMillan for a closed-door performance at Perth Concert Hall. The concert was captured on film and will be streamed on YouTube, free of charge on 20 May on Scottish Chamber Orchestra YouTube & Facebook page.
Colin plays Einojuhani Rautavaara’s magical, mystical percussion concerto Incantations. Rautavaara wrote this piece specially for Colin, and he premiered it in 2009.
