During the first week of September, Colin performs three concerts as part of the Purbeck Chamber Music Festival. Created in 2019, the festival takes place each year at the end of summer on the idyllic Isle of Purbeck in intimate venues scattered around the island. On September 3rd at 7:30pm, join Colin for a program entitled “Darkness and Starry Nights” at the Dorset County Museum. The evening features Colin and the Carducci Quartet with a program of Toshio Hosokawa’s “Reminiscence” and Steve Martland’s “Starry Night”. The second concert, on September 4th at 8pm, explores the theme of “Magic and Darkness” with a program featuring Colin and Louise Clein performing Rolf Wallin's “Realismos Mágicos”. The festival concludes with a coffee concert celebrating “Autumnal Light” on September 5th at 11:30am at St. James Church.
