After a successful world premiere of Danny Elfman’s Percussion Concerto at the Royal Festival Hall last month with the London Philharmonic Orchestra, Colin Currie performs the North American premiere of the same work at its co-commissioner, the Soka Performing Arts Center’s concert hall in Aliso Viejo. This time, the fabulous concerto for Percussion and Orchestra which was composed for Colin Currie himself features the Pacific Symphony Chamber Orchestra, conducted by Maestro Carl St. Clair. The programme also includes ‘Last Round’ by Osvaldo Golijov and Alone Together by John Wineglass.
Tickets and more information can be found here.
